Its orange synthetic leather bottom,which is very good quality. We use to go trekking on mountains, I use to put on rocks,rough roads etc..The bottom is still looks new after all. We can easily to wipe with the cloth. The material used for back pack really very good quality and strong too. Some times I use for my laptop too.
